Media/Process: Existing recorded piano works in the key of F minor.

Permitted techniques: Cut/paste; Layering; Buffer jumping; Pitch adjustment; EQ manipulation. No additional effects/sound sources.

The music is a result of explorations and a fascination with the constraints (and vast freedoms!) of process music as well as the possibilities of sampling as a medium of audible expressionist collage (spread over a canvas of time). These are pieces constructed from the disassembled bits and quiet hidden micro-moments and spectral strata within existing recordings of piano works in F minor. No other sound sources are permitted. No effects other than what can be achieved through cutting up, re-arranging, layering, speeding up/slowing down, and manipulating the spectrum of high and lows through basic EQ tools.
