about

We are proud to present this collection of experimental-improvisational-noise from New York scene veterans Lorin Roser, Timmy Cramer, and John Maiorino.

Artist Statement:
As we shoot into the techno future, let us have the best of both worlds, the haptic feedback of traditional instruments with the chaos of a granular experiment in sound. Steel strings against the fingers, the throb of vibrating wood, the push of drumsticks again skin; all channeled through the digital interstices of AI controlled manipulation, a hybrid humming hum. Improv tempered by years of communication and interaction, an instinctual community of sound… Robot Noise.
